“Cumuloquoise” (pronounced kew-meh-low-coy-s) is a 24-year-old who has aspired to be a writer since she was six. She is a professional introvert. She prefers to spend her days at home watching episodes of Doctor Who, drinking tea and watching movies at a whim and then rating them on IMDB.com. Her hobbies include those random weekends of Left 4 Dead, Portal, Sims, reading young adult novels (even though she’s clearly no longer a young adult) and board games such as Scrabble and Boggle – along with other alternatives.
Academic-wise, she completed her first class honours B.A. in English Literature with double minors in Creative Writing and Linguistics and somehow managed to squeeze herself into the Dean’s List twice (and she admits that she probably is showing off at this point in her biography). She is currently on her way to becoming an English teacher. She hopes that one day she may even write a book. Her writing style is inspired by the likes of poets such as e.e. cummings, Virginia Woolf and Anne Sexton.
This blog aspires to be a collection of movie reviews, youtube favourites, random thoughts and aspirations. Cumuloq hopes to turn her random nerdy passions into insightful articles for her readers. But at the end of the day, if not many end up following her, it’s alright. This blog still serves the fundamental purpose as a written documentation for her future self.
